Privacy
[LIKE THIS] need the operator’s details. If you have visitors in the EU, UK, or California, have a lawyer check this and confirm your lawful basis and controller details before going live. The short version: a listing is public by design, payments are handled by a payment provider we never see card details through, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
Who is responsible
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], is the controller of this data. Contact [PRIVACY EMAIL] about anything on this page.
What we store
This is the whole list, table by table.
- Listings — the URL or @handle you submitted (normalised, without any query string), the name, description and category shown on the board, and when it was created. All of this is public: that is what you are paying for.
- Payments — the amount in whole dollars, the time, which listing it was for, and the payment provider’s reference. We hold no card number, expiry, or security code, at any point. The amount you have paid in total is public, because it is your rank.
- Clicks — a timestamp per outbound click, so a listing can show how much traffic it received. Not tied to an account or a profile.
- Visits — a per-day counter. A number, not a list of people.
What we do not do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third-party ad tags.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No accounts, so no passwords to lose.
- No card details. Those go straight to
[PAYMENT PROVIDER], whose own privacy notice covers them.
Cookies
The board itself sets no cookies. Your browser stores one local preference — whether the side panel is open — which never leaves your device and is not readable by us. [UPDATE IF YOU ADD ANALYTICS]
Processors
[PAYMENT PROVIDER]— taking payments.[HOSTING PROVIDER]— running the site and its database.
How long we keep it
Listings and their payment records are kept for as long as the board exists, because the leaderboard is a running public record and payment records have to be retained for tax and accounting purposes — [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 7 YEARS]. Click and visit counts are aggregates and are not tied to a person.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Two honest limits: we cannot delete a payment record we are required to keep for accounting, and delisting removes a listing from the board but does not erase it from a paid history.
